Put on your thinking caps. We hope to have Gary Con event submission online in another week or two. If you have an event (or two or six) in mind that you'd like to run at Gary Con, start thinking about which times, days, and game systems work best for you. We're still working on the details as to what it means to be a Gary Con DM, but at the very least, you'll get a really cool DM badge.

Early Bird registration for Gary Con II is now closed! But do not fear, you can still pre-register for your badge by clicking on the Badge Registration link in the menu above.
In the meantime, we want to remind everyone planning on attending Gary Con II to be sure to reserve their rooms at the hotel, the Lodge at Geneva Ridge in Lake Geneva. There are only a limited number of rooms available at the special Gary Con rate. The hotel website is here.

Welcome to the new face of Gary Con! After thousands of hours slaving in front of a computer (okay, okay, maybe only dozens of hours, we do have some skills besides just being good at thowing dice), we have given the home page a much needed upgrade. This is just the first of many updates planned over the next year as we approach Gary Con II. Some of the other planned upgrades and updates will include a photo gallery, online pre-registration, a section dedicated to the Gary Gygax memorial, and pages devoted to future and past Gary Cons. |

Early Bird registration for Gary Con II is now open. Gary Con II is set for Friday, March 19th through Sunday, March 21st, 2010 at the Lodge on Geneva Ridge in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The fun begins at 9am Friday morning and runs through 5pm Sunday. That's right, Gary Con II will be 3 days of old school gaming fun in honor of the Father of Role-Playing Games, Gary Gygax. There will be over 4,000 square feet of gaming space at Gary Con II and numerous events ranging from miniatures to RPGs.
Come join notable gaming legends like Frank Mentzer, Rob Kuntz, Jim Ward, Tom Wham, Mike Carr, Tim Kask and many others. If you pre-register you will be able to reserve a seat at the most sought after events: imagine delving into El Raja Key with Rob Kuntz, playing white box D&D with Frank Mentzer or even flying a Dawn Patrol with Mike Carr.
In return for a $20 donation to the Gygax Family Memorial, you will receive a 3-day badge for Gary Con II as well as the opportunity to pre-register for 2 events online once event registration begins. If you pre-register by August 30th, you'll receive the additional Early Bird benefits which include a swag bag full of goodies and the opportunity to sign-up for 1 additional event (3 total).

Gary Con II plans are in the works! As we speak, a special task force of elite personnel are planning the next event. You asked and we listened. It will be bigger, badder, and better than ever. We're currently exploring options for larger venues, more days, longer hours, more games, and more VIP guests. Stay tuned and check back for updates. |
